Marketing That Works
In 2007, as a project in conjunction with Women's Council of Realtors, I presented a 4 part marketing series to teach other Realtors some of the tactics I use
in business.
People ask, "Why would you want to share your secrets." My belief is, they really aren't secrets, they are just things we all know. I want to raise the bar in our industry
and this is one way to do it.
The seminars for 2007 are complete, but watch for 2008 dates. The seminars are open to the general real estate community and WCR members.
In almost any business marketing is
the avenue to procuring clients.
In Real Estate we need to market ourselves to get "the job", the market
our listings after we get the job. And somewhere along the line we have to "apply
for the Job with a great listing presentation. And we need the skills to know
how to do all of this. This seminar is designed to teach you all four parts:
1. Marketing Ourselves
2. Marketing Our listings
3. Delivering a Listing Presentation that
will get you hired
4. Putting it all together

In Marketing Ourselves, we have two things
we need to market:
1. To "get the call" - making buyers and sellers call us to
even consider using us.
2. To "get the job" - making buyers and sellers choose us
once they give us a chance to meet them
This course will offer you literally hundreds
of ideas that will spark your creativity to stand above the crowd.
You'll walk out with examples and ideas
you can put into action at once. |

In Marketing Our Listings. There are four ways we market:
1. To the realtor community
2. To targeted people known to be in the market to buy or sell a home
3. To the community at large, people who might be in the market to buy
or sell a home
4. And "in-home marketing" , ie. once they get to the house
and are our captive audience how do we, through materials at the home,
sell the features of the home. " |

have to get hired. With the listing presdentatioin format you'll see you
are all but guaranteed that you will "get the job" every time.

Finally is "How to Put it all together, " developed
by request. Those who have taken these courses ask "how do you do
that?" So I have put together a "Computer Graphics 101"
course to teach some basic computer skills showing how to create a newsletter,
flyer, poster, some power point basics, photo manipulation, using graphics
in a documents, and other basic computer skills to help make slick looking
marketing materials and presentations. Attendees are asked to bring their
lap tops to this if they have one so they can physically follow along.(teaches
how to use your computer to create the techniques and items seen in sessions
1, 2, and 3 - bring your laptop if you have one) |
